Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics is the fundamental document that expresses the values and criteria with which we relate to our stakeholders. Its aim is to encourage the sharing of those principles that have always underpinned the company’s activities.

The document is signed by all persons, both internal and external, who work for and/or on behalf of our company.

Sustainable Procurement Policy

Our policy of sustainable procurement is inspired by the principles of the FAO Fisheries Department’s Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries. Our company is not directly involved in the capture, treatment and processing of fish, but focuses on imports from various parts of the world and the distribution of canned fish in Italy. This is why we put our principles into practice by means of the ongoing ethical and environmental monitoring of the production chain and the careful selection of suppliers who share our principles and policies and who are committed, just like us, to promoting and protecting sustainable procurement.
The Sustainable Procurement Policy focuses on several aspects:

  1. compliance with national and international standards and support for organisations active in the field of sustainability in the fisheries sector;
  2. supporting fishery stocks;
  3. combating illegal fishing;
  4. product traceability;
  5. fishing methods and the protection of the environment and species;
  6. the development of local communities;
  7. assessing and reducing the environmental impact of production activities.
